Why do you have to taste so good?
I think I am addicted to Pop Tarts.
A pack of these and a Diet Coke has been my favorite breakfast while driving to work lately or while sitting at my desk in the morning.
The package says it's a good source of 7 vitamins and minerals. At least it's not ALL bad! ha ha...right.
I need to stop.

I'll tell ya, these days it's coin toss. It's a wonder I am not an alcoholic by now.

First, Jimmy Kimmel's girl Sarah Silverman is fucking Matt Damon,
Now, pay back is a bitch because Jimmy Kimmel is fucking Ben Affleck,
and even Brad Pitt is in on it!
Too fucking funny.

My sister and I went out last night for her birthday dinner and to see James Blunt in concert. Who was fabulous by the way! We had a great time. Labels: family, James Blunt, music
Today, we are having a party to celebrate five birthdays in our family. In about six hours my house will be filled with family, friends and good times. I love these kind of weekends, they get me motivated. Between the cleaning and having fun, there is no time to be lazy.
If only I didn't wake up with a pounding sinus headache.

We signed our daughter Allison up for Brownies this year. Hoping it would be a fun and learning experience. A chance to bond with other girls and learn more about nature and our state. And it was, for a while. It was great.
Then the troop leader went back to work full time. Now it seems all they do it go on outings. Outings that cost, $10.00 and $20.00 or more each time. On top of the dues. Outings that we could do any time on our own if we wanted like the dog show and trips to the skating rink.
I do really like the leader a lot and can't even imagine how much work it is to run a Brownie troop BUT again, this is not what I had in mind when signing her up.
I am aware that some of the other mom's have issues lately and are talking of pulling their daughters out of the troop. I guess I'll give it another month and see if things change. I know Allison really wants to be a Brownie. But running here and there and spending money every other week is not bonding or learning much. I bet she can't even name half the girls in her troop.

Love...

I had a dream last night that I hit the car in front of me while driving to work. In my dream I didn't even stop to see if the other driver was alright. I acted like I was going to pull over and then hit my gas and drove off. Labels: daily bs
I know it was just a dream but I still have this strange guilty feeling when ever I think about it.

My day is going by so slow that I can't stop myself from yawning, like every five minutes. I have had my limit of caffeine and it's just not helping. All I can think about is going home, putting on my PJ bottoms and laying on the couch to watch last nights episode of Brothers & Sisters. Labels: daily bs, T.G.I.F. the office, television

It's cold and rainy out side today. The perfect day for Allison to log on her two new Webkinz and for me to get some laundry, movie watching and blog reading done. Labels: daily bs, family, Webkinz

Can any one say Beta? So glad now that I didn't waste any money on a HD DVD player.
My husband and I had our hopes on Blu-Ray being the one to last. He loves his PS3. When the new upgradeable Blu-Ray players are out I am sure we will buying one for the living room.

I have been surfing Foxfire themes and finally found the right one. Pink Hope 1.0
It goes just perfect with my new pretty pink laptop.

I am so glad today is Friday. I am having a heck of a time kicking this kidney infection. I am still not back to feeling 100% but I am getting a little better every day now. I will never wait so long to see a doctor again!
Tonight I offered to take care of our seven month old granddaughter. I am really looking forward to it. Taking care of her has got to be the best medicine I can think of right now.

I love Google and it's fun Googliness. If you iGoogle for your home page and haven't checked out the themes lately, Gooogle has recently added pages of new looks to chose from. Fun! I love the "Grass" theme but I think I am going to stick to the "Taurus" theme for a while. It's so damn cute.

I think I am finally feeling a little better today. My back still hurts really bad and I am super tired but some how I feel a little better. Maybe the antibiotic is starting to kick in. I hope!

Damn, I am not looking forward to that!

I am on 24 hours of bed rest. Doctors orders. I was in the urgent care clinic this morning for a kidney infection that I let go way too long. I took the back pain for a flare up of my endometriosis by mistake. The infection is so bad the doctor wanted me to go to the hospital for an IV. Um, no. He settled for a promise of bed rest and antibiotics at home. Thank goodness I have my laptop or I would be bored silly already. Labels: endometriosis

I am so happy today is Friday. I have been alone in the office the last couple of days and it's been usually busy. I plan to make two stops on my way home today. One to the store for Diet Coke and snacks and the other to the video store to rent a few DVDs for the weekend. After Allison is in bed tonight, I see my feet up and my mind escaping in a movie. This week has kicked my butt ! Labels: dvd, family, movies, T.G.I.F. the office

Wordless Wednesday

We had a great time this afternoon. The show was sold out and filled with little girls singing and dancing the entire time.
We let Allison and her girlfriend take over the living room about an hour before it was time to go so they could warm up.

Labels: family, Hannah Montana, music
I just burned a new Hannah Montana CD for my daughter and I can't get her songs out of my head. We have tickets to see her 3D concert movie tomorrow afternoon. Allison and her little girlfriend are so excited! It's really cute. They have been counting down the days on our calendar. Infact she is in her room right now, planning on how to do her hair and make up. As if she is old enough for make up! Ha.
I know getting Hannah Montana concert tickets for little girls has been all the rage this year but this will be the closest thing my daughter will get to a real concert for at least another five years.
It should be fun. I'll try and post a few photos and review when we get home.

After helping Allison with some home work and straightening up our bedrooms this morning, I whipped up a batch of chocolate chunk, cake like brownies with homemade pecan topping. The are pure chocolate bliss! Labels: chocolate, family, food
If I don't do much of anything else today, at least I did that!

I for one am so glad today is Friday. We were hit with a bunch of snow while sleeping and after my fun drive in to the office this morning, I am looking forward to a couple of days of just hibernating. Labels: daily bs
