As much as I am addicted to my TV shows like Brothers & Sisters and One Tree hill my husband is addicted to football. As much as I am on line blogging lately he has been spending his time on line at 1stNFLPicks.com. I hear him talking to his buddies all the time about NFL picks and 1stNFLPicks.com. They sound like little boys they get so excited. There is some thing about football that just puts my husband in a good mood. I am sure not complaining in fact it's really pretty cool.

Well it sure is off to a good start. I got lot's of kisses from my 8 year old daughter this morning and then walked in to the office and found a birthday gift and my favorite bagel sitting on my desk. I feel so lucky!
My sister surprised me with a pair of these Vans for my birthday. The have pink little basset hounds on them! Are they not the cutest shoes ever?
Spending a nice Saturday night with my sister. Drinks and listening to music online while our husbands huddle around their PS3's.

I am starting to think that the days I tell myself this isn't so bad, I am in some kind of dream land. It's starting to get to the point that I am worried that her living with us is going to break up my family. That eventually I am going to have enough and start packing. How sad is that!?

Blogger is acting really odd the last couple of days. My last couple of posts are not showing up. ??? Will this one???
I have been battling the stomach flu for a couple of days. I hate being sick and stuck in bed or on the couch. All I do is lay here and think about all the things I "should" be doing. The last couple of days the weather here in Michigan has been just beautiful. 70 degrees and a nice wind. After such a long cold winter, I am just loving it. I have been out walking the dog and chit chatting with my neighbors again. It feels great. I only wish it would last longer. If you ask me, spring and fall are way too short. Labels: daily bs

I have had the blahs all day today. I could so do with out Mondays. I mean, really why do Mondays seem to drag on so much longer then the other four week days? You know which candidate can have my vote? The one that promises us a four day work week the entire time he or she is in office. Yeah, that's who I'd be voting for.
Ever since I have known my husband he has been really into shooting. He loves to spend his Saturday mornings at a near by shooting range. As much as I love shopping for computers and new geeky toys, he loves shopping for guns and accessories. He spends a lot of time on military websites. His most recent find that brought the UPS truck to our house was a new safariland holster and he couldn't be happier. Labels: daily bs, family, shopping
I took my 20 yr old daughter out last night for a bite to eat and then we caught the 7:00 showing of Juno at the dollar show. It was the second time seeing it for me and I enjoyed just as much as the first. I know it's coming out on DVD this month but I really wanted Bethany to see it on the big screen if possible. Of course she also really loved it. I thought it was so good, I could watch it again and still enjoy it. It's defiantly one I'll be adding to our home collection.

My laptop has been acting funny lately. I am hoping it's some thing with Fire Fox because it started after I did the last update. I keep getting a blurry white haze over the web page I am on and then Fire Fox closes. It's started to really tick me off and freak me out. Well, there will be no more bitching from me about not getting any alone time. My husband will be going back on afternoons for a few weeks starting this Monday and then come Tuesday evening, our daughter Allison will be flying to Europe with my parents for a two week stay. My first thought was, what the heck am I going to do with my evenings? Today I woke up and thought, shoot two whole weeks of free evenings! There will be lots of Sex & The City watching and take out eating going on. I wonder how many seasons I can watch in a two week span? Only 56 more days until the movie opens.
