How long is a mother suppose to worry, stress over and feel irresponsible for a twenty year old daughter that just wont get her life together? A daughter that is lazy and refuses to take responsibility? A daughter that loves drama and refuses to listen to any advise given? or make any changes for her self? When is enough, enough?

I am really thinking of trying spyder paintball . I think it might be some thing fun for my husband and I to do with a group of our friends. My husband likes to fish and golf and that is fine for him, but neither are some thing that we can do with a group. Paintball would be some thing we could all do just to have a really good time that doesn't take a whole lot of skill to begin. So that doesn't leave some one like me out who has absolutely no sporting experience at all.
I've been looking at different sites to find the equipment needed and Ultimate Paintball seems to be the best around. They have a wide variety of equipment, including Tippmann, Spyder, Smart Parts, Dye, and Draxxus paintball gear plus many more brands which you can find on their website at fairly reasonable prices. I am really looking forward to the extreme paintball experience. I think it's something that will allow us to blow off some steam and take a break from our every day lives.
When we find the time to try this and I am sure we will, look for me to post a photo of me in my paintball mask. ..LOL

My husband and I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend up north. This time we went up just the two of us, no kids. We spent most of the weekend laughing and sitting by the fire with a group of family and friends. Lots of R & R ! It was just what we needed right now.

If it's one event I have heard a lot about all of my life, it is the NFR, (Wrangler National Finals Rodeo). My grandpa use to tell me stories all the time. He was so proud to have been there the few times he was able. Thanks to him and his story telling, I can tell you all about how it started in 1985 in Las Vegas and how exciting it was and how he was right there to see it. Then in 1989, how Ty Murray became the youngest all around world champion in PRCA history at the young age of 20. How he broke the record of Jim Sharp, who had won the impressive title at only 21 years old. Yep, those were the stories I listen too over and over as I was growing up. There are plenty more stored in my memory like, in 2001 Cody Hancock broke a 27 year old record by riding Diamond G's Mr. USA for 96 points at the NFR. Man how my grandpa wanted to be there for that. He had to be home here in Michigan to work but it didn't stop him from telling me about it every time I would visit. He says that those days are past him now because he is too old to travel but I sure would love to be able to surprise him with Wrangler National Finals Rodeo tickets some time. I can't imagine any thing making him more happy! Labels: entertainment, family

Today seemed to go by so much faster than yesterday. Of course it might just be my excitement about the upcoming long weekend. Our office is closed Thursday through Monday. I mean who doesn't love a nice four day weekend? My husband and I have plans to go up north and hang out with my parents. Which is always a good time !

It felt like I was in the office for a life time today. I hate it when Mondays drag on and on. I even ran out of blogs to read and things to Google. Labels: daily bs
Tonight I am planning on hang out and watching the rest Sex & The City season six and going to bed early. Tomorrow is a new day!

Every night for years now my daughter has said to me "good night, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite". I had no idea that there was even such a thing as bedbugs. Here I thought it was just a cute little saying that kids said before going to sleep at night. It turns out that they are really little bugs that are nocturnal and feed off human blood. Bed bugs often live or crawl in the spaces in between walls, and if your neighbors have them, you could as well. You can even get them fro used clothing or furniture. Well, I just learned a lot. You can go to by checking out www.bedbugsguide.com and reading how to find signs of them and then get rid of them.

Two hour marathon of The Office tonight on NBC !

My husband and I were up by 7:30am to go have our blood drawn to complete our wellness exam for our new insurance policy. Since then I have mowed our front lawn, washed two loads of laundry, cleaned and vacuumed our bedroom, including the stairs and did the same for our daughters room. I just got out of the shower and about to get ready for afternoon mass with my sister and step mom then the three of us are headed to a candle party tonight. Should be fun. Because you know a girl can never have too many candles!

We have been thinking about adding yet another computer our home. One for my husband to use for gaming and only gaming. The one he is using now is no where near as fast and powerful as he would like it to be and he also is sharing it with our girls. So you know he has no hope of gaming on the weekends or when there is home work to be done. The only real reason we haven't added another computer as of yet is the cost. But we just learned that Easy As My PC offers gaming computer kits that my husband can assemble himself. Easy As My PC will even test the components and they offer full easy to read illustrated instructions. I know my husband is handy and great at "do it yourself" projects around the house. I don't know why I didn't think of looking for a diy computer sooner? Buying a diy gaming PC is going to save us hundreds. And it comes with a full warrenty, so there is no risk involved there. Oh, I see some serious gaming in my husbands near future and some serious savings in our budget!

Now before I vent about the men I work with I should point out that they are all very nice guys. I am very lucky to be working with such a great group of people. BUT for some strange reason they all feel they need to be my weather men. Ha ha ha.. let me explain! I sit in the front office and have about a dozen guys that work out back in our shop and as they walk through and pass my desk, which sits right in front of a large window let me point out, they all for some reason feel the need to comment on the weather. So when it's raining like today, I will hear "yep it's raining" or "wow, it's really raining" or " it's going to rain" or " the rain is really coming down now" at least five or six times in one afternoon. It really gets on my nervous some days! But because they are all like I said so very nice, I bite my tongue. But one of these days when I am stressed out I am going to snap at one of them or ask how I could NOT know it's raining, sitting here in front of a large window and all.

A lot of people I know have needed a little or more than a little help in the past when it comes to money. Pretty much every one I know has applied for at least one or two personal loans. A few have even applied for a Payday Loans . A Pay day loan some times is just what some one needs to help get them through the week. It's fast and it's easy. To a lot of families that are living paycheck to paycheck, even just a couple of days can make a world of difference and lift a whole lot of stress. After days of gloomy, cold rainy weather today is dry and beautiful with the high of 70. Just perfect for a family BBQ. Since the weather was so crappy on Sunday we decided to have a pretend it's Mother's Day celebration this evening at our house. My parents and my daughter will be over after work. Should be a good time. Labels: family

Even though I am still fighting off this head cold, which is now in my ears so I feel like I have been under water for a couple of days I still had a very nice Mother's Day weekend. My husband and daughter made me dinner last night and showered me with gifts while we sat around and ate ice cream for dessert. Allison had a few handmade gifts from school and a digital key chain for me. She was so proud of herself when she saw happy they made me. It really was a good day.

I don't know what I was thinking coming to work today. Not only do I have one of the worse colds I have had in a long time but my endometriosis is really acting up and I am in a lot of pain. I think it's the worse it's been in over a year. Thank goodness my husband and i both have doctor appointments today. I am hoping for a magic shot of some kind to kick this cold out of my system. If I take any more over the counter meds I think my stomach is going to fall apart. The only answer for me is go back home soon and soak in a warm bath and go back to bed for a while before seeing the doctor today. Labels: bitching, daily bs, me

If I could have anything I want for Mother's Day or my birthday this year my husband would all over MaidPro.com ! I would love to hire some one to give our house a good House Cleaning. I have a vision of our bathroom and kitchen sparkling clean, of all of our beds made at once and even our furniture polished instead of being just rubbed clean. I can just see our hardwood floors shinning like new and our carpet freshly vacuumed. It would be like a dream! Now that would be the best gift for any wife or mom ever!
Attention Hubby, if you are reading this you better head over to MaidPro.com a.s.a.p. and make my dreams come true this year. I think I deserve it!

I can not believe for the first time in over a year my husband and I forgot to set our alarm and woke up over an hour late this morning. I wish I could say my day has gotten better but it hasn't. Our office is dealing with switching to a new health insurance and all of my customers are feeling needy today. So to say I am feeling a little stressed is an understatement. I wont even get a break after work because it's my daughters Brownie night. There's no getting out of it either, she is speaking to the troop about her vacation in Europe. I think I need a drink!

I had my granddaughter over the weekend. She is just a joy. She is at that age when all you have to do it look at her and she smiles. Labels: family
I was able to get a few minutes of video of her giggling at Allison. It's so sweet. There is no way you can watch this and not smile.

In stead of racing home to cook dinner tonight I am planning on racking and mowing our front yard. Now what could be more fun on a Monday evening than that?

We have a full house this weekend. My daughter and granddaughter are here for the night and so is my nephew. We rented a bunch of movies and ordered pizza for dinner. So far it's been a really good time. Lots of laughing going on. Tomorrow morning I am planning on surprising every one with a big home made breakfast. Pancakes and sausage. I love it when our house is this full.

A lot of people I know have needed a little or more than a little help in the past when it comes to money. Pretty much every one I know has applied for at least one or two personal loans. Myself included. It use to be that you had to miss a day of work, then spend your time at a bank and then still wait to hear back from them if you even qualify. Not any more! Now you can apply for Personal Loans on line making it even easier to get the help you need with out even leaving your home or office.
With no credit check or large collateral commitment required Personal Loan Mania's nationwide personal loan service is there to help.
