Alone Time

Well, there will be no more bitching from me about not getting any alone time. My husband will be going back on afternoons for a few weeks starting this Monday and then come Tuesday evening, our daughter Allison will be flying to Europe with my parents for a two week stay. My first thought was, what the heck am I going to do with my evenings? Today I woke up and thought, shoot two whole weeks of free evenings! There will be lots of Sex & The City watching and take out eating going on. I wonder how many seasons I can watch in a two week span? Only 56 more days until the movie opens.

30 Days of Night

I thought it was pretty good. Better then I expected. Lots of action and suspense, blood and gore. Some scenes were so gross I had to hide my face but I still thought the movie was a lot of fun. I thought Josh Hartnett did a great job.

T.G.I.F.

I am so happy today is Friday. I have been alone in the office the last couple of days and it's been usually busy. I plan to make two stops on my way home today. One to the store for Diet Coke and snacks and the other to the video store to rent a few DVDs for the weekend. After Allison is in bed tonight, I see my feet up and my mind escaping in a movie. This week has kicked my butt !

Quick DVD Reviews

The Borne Ultimatum -

Loved it. I thought it was really well done and entertaining. I liked it more then the second instalment but not as much as the first. Matt Damon is perfect for these movies.

Death Sentence -

Wicked ! Very over the top. Extremely violent and depressing. Yet I was glued to it. If you can handle the violence it's worth the rent. It's just not one to watch right before going to bed. My husband and I both tossed and turned a lot that night.

The Game Plan -

My eight year old daughter piked this movie for our family movie night. We all piled in the living room with popcorn and watched it together. It's not easy to find a movie we all can enjoy but I think this one made our list. Even my husband said it wasn't bad. It's a lot of fun for the kids with out being too silly or torturous for the parents.
