Planning a few too many

T.G.I.F. ! It's been a heck of a work week for me. I am happy to see it just about over. I am planning a quiet night tonight on the couch with a chick flick and few too many cocktails!

More long weekends please

We had the best 4th of July weekend. We went to the fireworks, we grilled, the kids made smores and camped out in our tent in the back yard. We spent the day at the pool and had drinks around our fire pit with friends. It was the perfect holiday weekend. I need more weekends like that.

Job Love

Some times I really love my job. I spend a lot of days bored with not much to do and the day just drags on and on. Other days like today, I had just enough to do to keep me busy and pass the day along. I especially love it when I am alone in the office. This week it's just the owner, his son and myself. Everyone else is on vacation for the 4th of July. It's great to be able to break up the usual routine and just do my own thing for a few days.

Father's Day

We had a fantastic Father's Day. My sister and I combined our dinners and families and we celebrated over her house. It was really a good time. I love it that we live in the same city and so close to each other. I think it's four minutes from drive way to drive way. I love it.

SATC:Movie

After waiting and counting down the days my sister and I saw the Sex & The City movie Friday night. We really had a good time, dinner first and a couple of yummy drinks then caught the 10:10pm showing. The place was packed with women, all just as excited as we were. Ok, maybe not "all". But most! It was a good thing we bought our tickets so far in advanced because even getting there an hour before the show time we had at least 20 women in line ahead of us.

I wont give away any spoilers but I can tell you the movie was FABULOUS ! We both loved every minute of it. If you are a real SATC fan, you wont be disappointed.

Birthday morning

Laughter will be contagious today -- and you will be the main carrier! You'll be spreading joy and a positive attitude wherever you go, and even the grumpiest people will simply love being around you. This is a great day for a party, networking event, or any situation where a lot of different people will be getting together to have fun. Some outrageous times are ahead of you, and it's time for you to unfold your most radical plans. You'll get plenty of takers.

Well it sure is off to a good start. I got lot's of kisses from my 8 year old daughter this morning and then walked in to the office and found a birthday gift and my favorite bagel sitting on my desk. I feel so lucky!

Just what I needed

Spending a nice Saturday night with my sister. Drinks and listening to music online while our husbands huddle around their PS3's.

Weekend update

Well yesterday sure didn't go as planned but I can't say it was a bad day. I ended up doing some running around with my daughter and granddaughter. Man, it seems her infant car seat is way heavier then when my girls were babies. By the time I left the third store I felt as if my arm was going to fall off.

My sister and her family were here for a couple of hours doing taxes with my husband and ended up taking my daughter and granddaughter home with them for the night. How cool is that? I KNOW !

It was a hard decision if Gerry and I wanted to go out for dinner or order in. We ended up ordering in and watching a movie. It was nice. I even made myself a drink after dinner and was on line listening to music for a little while. But what is nice is this morning! I was up and in the shower early so I could spend some time enjoying the peace and quiet and boy am I. I have the blinds open and the sun coming in is just beautiful.
I am telling you, sisters are the best ! I owe her big time.
