Weekend update

Allison had a great riding lesson yesterday morning. I was a bit worried because she hasn't been on a horse in a while. But she did really good. Everything seemed to come right back to her. After that we picked up my nephew and spent the afternoon at the pool. I took my book and sat in "Stephenie Meyer" section under the big red umbrella. Four of us moms laughed when we realized we were all reading the same author. It was cute and fun to discuss. The kids had a blast until they closed and kicked us out. I think my daughter was the last one out of the pool. We had a couple of stops to make on our way home to BBQ some dogs and pork chops for dinner.
After dinner the kids changed and grabbed all of their blankets, pillows and Webkinz and claimed the living room for the night. I think we put in a movie for them a 10:00 pm. They were thrilled to be watching a movie that late. I was thrilled that they both slept in until after 10:00 am this morning! Other then doing some laundry and cooking dinner, today is all about kicking back, enjoying some R & R and watching season three on Grey's Anatomy on DVD.
